Research
Supporting shoulder research
Patients sometimes ask how they can give something back. If you would like to, the way to do it is through REEF, the Palm Beach Research and Education Foundation, a nonprofit that funds orthopedic research and training here in Palm Beach County.

Dr. Routman co-founded REEF and is its president. A gift to the foundation has no effect on your care, now or later. Nobody in the office will ask you for one, and you are never expected to give.
Gifts go to the foundation, not to this office and not to Dr. Routman. The foundation sends your receipt.
What a gift pays for
- Research fellows, residents and students who do the work of clinical studies
- Small pilot studies that can grow into larger ones
- Imaging, data tools and software for research
- Education programs for trainees and for the community
How to give
Online, through the foundation’s secure donation page: give to REEF. For a gift by check, a gift in someone’s honor, or any other question, email info@reefpb.org.
